Email went out today saying the Northam has now 80% sold out during the early bird period and it’s hard to find tickets together for groups.
I'm sure this was mentioned in the WBA match thread, but the atmosphere on Friday was the best I've ever heard at St Mary's. Yes it was a unique occasion, but I'm optimistic that the change to safe standing only in the Northam will be a positive one.
Also looks like the Northam is now totally sold out for next season, unless people in blocks 40-42 don't/didn't renew.
I'm hoping this just means the season tickets available here have sold out and not the entire standing section. I'd love to get tickets there but can't justify getting a season ticket due to living 2 hours away from Soton.
My understanding was that the standing section is season tickets only which is why they made them available to buy early and these have now all sold out. I don't think there will be single match tickets available in the standing section but I may be wrong.
Is anyone else hoping that Saints get a plum home game first round of the new season and Sky select it for the opening game on the Friday evening? The Northam stand would be absolutely bouncing.
Too much of a coward for playing top teams….I prefer to play the rabbits and ferrets (not sure if there are any in the EPL ). Get some points on the board.
Cheapest ST renewal price is £479. Given I've got a better seat with the early bird price of £499 in the Northam I'm delighted with my decision.
So those of us saying they were gonna bin off the cheap section were right? Really poor that imo and makes a mockery of the so called 10 -15%. If I was renewing mine would be more than an extra oner.
Meh. Doesn't really make a huge difference for me. I would have preferred a physical card but can see why they've done it. As long as they actually work come the first game of the season.
