Voted Tory all my life-cannot vote the unfit clowns of looney Labour.

Neither fit for purpose my vote goes to reform as does millions of disillusioned Tory and Labour voters

They need to remove Sunak and the liberals and wets from the Tory party and get back to true blue ways.

    There’s literally no other choice
The Tories have let themselves and the country down by not being conservative
Reform won’t make that much of a difference this time around, but when people discover that Labour are as bad if not worse than what we have now, Reform will be there or thereabouts next time around
A shocking state of affairs all round

to be honest Ashton I dont really see anyone out there at the moment that can make any difference to how things are going. Only a blind person to the media reports of how the UK ecomomy is going by "wordly financial pundits and observers" or takes into consideration any other problems like immigration etc or how certain things are out of tune due the massive "striked over wage demands" ALL will be facing the next .gov. THE one provisio is that the present .GOV has actually financially steadied the ship so whoever takes over the next 5 years wont have a massive massive blackhole in the countries finances.

As BCRW "awkwardly" puts it in another post" its a cycle ... at every GE WHEN THE TORIES HAVE BEEN IN POWER THE COUNTRY is in a state of relative stability

I dont need to give a list as his comment was answered and he needs to state what is wrong ... OK 2 month's is a bit short of a time span but actually you can take it back to the usual quotes which are done "quarterly"

No point in answering any of this as your "understanding" of certain things / comments is not in keeping with your answer. [ full context not embraced! ] ..... just a quick example using the first point .......

Market is bouyant and in past week or so has shown [ uncertainty ] decline, [ has allowed me to cash in and consolidate some of my finances ]. Uncertaincy is where people do not or hesitate to act... especially when things are in decline and it will affect their pocket!

Males tend to lean to females and in some cases the other way round. Enlighten us of what sense she conjured up ... viz on local issues or on national ones ... even as far as international ones? Genuinely interested.
! I exchange emails with our local MP about 3 / 4 times a year she is labour .. her local activities and attempts at! are pretty much par [ give her 7 or 8 out of 10 ] but her national ideals are following the party line although on a number of aspects I dont think she actually believes it is correct!

I find it hard to believe you're so naive.
So, it's nothing to do with any previous Labour administration, it's all down to the Tories. You are unbelievable.

The Tories deserve to lose this election.
For you or Ashton to believe in Starmer, Lammy and co is for the fairies.

The stage managed Sunak launch with Shapps and co dutifully clapping on cue was pathetic.
We then were fed Starmer in front of 2 Union Jacks acting the big statesman.
Equally pathetic........and yet so many get taken in.
Anyone, Ashton, R&W or anyone else who think Starmer and co will succeed in government need serous help !

It’s clear you can’t come up with anything going well. I am currently travelling for 3 days so will post a list of things that are not on my return to the UK. To be clear I do not think Labour will be much better. However as RP says the Conservatives deserve to lose this election and badly.

I know it’s staged managed obviously, Corbyn did the non stage managed look and it didn’t go well. The leader has to at least attempt to look professional it’s the way of the world if you want to be taken seriously. Whether Starmer & co will be successful only time will tell, however as you say this lot has had its time and failed abysmally and I don’t see a better option, do you ?

Just for the record; I don’t think ANY of the parties running are any good.
If (as looks likely at the moment) I end up voting for Labour, it will be more about the last 13 years of conservatism failing to improve anything and the country needing a change, not for any ‘love’ for Starmer.
    Labour might fail.
The Tories have PROVEN to be a failure - on the economy, immigration, public services, utilities - every aspect of government.

One thing I found refreshing about her was her objective outlook, rather than simply bashing the Tories.
I find the trading of tit for tat insults by members of ALL parties tiresome, pathetic and unhelpful.
Of course she might have been putting on a show, but at the time I was impressed.

    Can't wait .

    Day 1 ...breakfast with ASLEF.
Of course lads, £600 for a 5th day and no strings.....no problem.

Day 2 ... Free for all immigration.
The useless Tories allowed 600k net.
Just wait what Lammy wants, they're already promising FOUR new towns.
    May the Lord help us.

As soon as I retire - or get made redundant - whichever comes first.
I’m next over there in September for their national day celebrations when they celebrate their Britishness.
Back home a party like that would probably be banned or at least frowned upon for being ‘racist’.
They mostly voted Remain too - must be difficult for you to reconcile patriotism and British national pride with wanting to stay part of the EU - but they did.
Even now they stand to attention when the National anthem plays - show me anywhere in the UK where that happens.
Come over in September and see what I mean RP.

I think some on here should stand for the Tories and try and convince us all how good we’ve had it over the past 13 years.
    I’d take some convincing.
I think it’s been pretty crap tbh.
