Blaming Eddie for making his job untenable after comments he made in a press conference - a week after he'd accepted Man Utd offer <laugh>

He's making himself look more and more like a prize arsehole. He belongs at Man United, he'll fit in very well there.

And what exactly were Eddie's comments?
That he couldn't deny Ashworth had been approached?

Saying that it wasn't ideal that Ashworth was aware of budgets and transfer plans for the summer and that he hoped it was resolved as soon as possible for everyones sake.

But he would only say thar AFTER it was clear Ashworth was going. How can it be untenable if you are already leaving?

How fooking dumb is Ashworth? The more he fights this the more stupid he looks.

He’s making himself look an absolute tool.

If you look at his history of positions. He’s moved on early in each project.

I think he is a fraud.

Man Utd fans are clearly as thick as **** and must be about as work shy as scousers judging by their redcafe forum on this whole subject.

Pretty much every single one of them are deluded as **** and think it's Newcastle being small time and in the wrong.

So let's just take a look at this step by step.

They publicly declare they want Ashworth before Ineos had even completed partial takeover. Using every media source available to them to bash the story out for several months. Yet their fans are laughing making out it's us using the media for an agenda.

They then make a direct approach to Ashworth, missing out the formalities of approaching NUFC first as is the guidelines set down by the FA. Yet they think that's us making this up in the press.

They have a Manchester City (Baredda) employee use an Ineos e-mail address to correspond with Ashworth despite this man being on gardening leave from Man City........Not due to start officially till 13 July I believe???? This opens up the possibility of him being hit with a Springboard Injunction (resetting his entire Gardening Leave period)

They then fail to meet NUFC's valuation of the man. Now weather we agree he's worth £20m or not, the club do. For argument's sake one wrong transfer could cost them way more than that.

That rat faced cheap bastard then takes every opportunity to belittle NUFC in the media because he's not getting his own way and may have to pay.

Ashworth is placed on Gardening leave in the mean time, rightfully so. Those thick twats on redcafe however seem to think an employer can only place someone on gardening leave once they hand a resignation letter in - wrong. The man knows budgets, contract clauses, contract lengths, summer transfer targets and a pile of sensitive information that they clearly don't want Man Utd knowing till our house is in order. If the club suspected that this information was at risk then of course their within their rights to remove him from harms way to protect themselves. If Man Utd wanted this info then they should have paid for this info.

Ashworth then claiming he's been sacked - You can't be sacked when your being paid you absolute divvy. Also claiming his contract is unfair - then you shouldn't have signed it and should have refused your wages whilst preparing for the Chelsea Flower show.

Really hope we don't do what I suspect we'll do which is settle before arbitration and allow those thick ****s to hide behind an NDA.

If he is already in Manchester I would pay him to do mine while I am over here.

This is what will unfortunately happen.

Gardening leave is there to protect the employer.

But it is also restricting him working and possibly earning a lot more money.

So the contract of employment must be bullet proof. I think it will be.

The contract breach is a whole different ball game mind.

Difference here is he's not on a permanent contract. Think his initial one was for 4 years. Meaning he's still being paid and hasn't been sacked. Everywhere you see 6 months being a limit, you have to bare in mind is for permanent staff (not football world staff).

If Man Utd had gone about things in the correct manner I'm pretty sure they'd have had a better time of it.

Instead, they contacted him directly on the sly. Had him communicate private club information and send it to them. Allowing them to come in and try and low ball us and refuse to budge. Then bitch and moan every time a television camera was placed under their MINORITY owners nose when he wasn't getting what he demanded.

Unfortunately for them, We've got this info which would allow both ourselves and Man City to report them to the FA and Premier League which could result in them being handed a transfer embargo. (Which would be ****ing glorious).

They've gone and publicly courted someone in the press for months, done a deal behind the clubs back, had sensitive information passed to them from said employee, then somehow played the victim like a bunch of scousers.

I personally hope arbitration sides with us and we just let the bugger sit out his gardening leave and forget the compensation. Delaying the Jim'll fix it's big revolution.

My new favourite bit is Dan thinking telling the club he want's to leave to join Man Utd verbally isn't the same as a written resignation and therefor we sacked him. Wrong. A verbal resignation works for and to protect an employer despite what's in contract.

People keep saying that NUFC (as a club) need to agree to arbitration, not sure if that's right or not but I think it is. Surely we would only agree to arbitration if there was a question mark as to whether or not someone had done something wrong in all of this (other than old green fingers himself).

Sounds like this Barreda fella has breached the terms of his contract with City as well along the way, all cos of this rat faced freelance tramp who's playing billy big bollocks and blaming everybody else when he doesn't get what he wants.

Personally if arbitration is not mandatory I hope we just ride this out and see what happens. We're certainly not in any rush for it all to be done and dusted as we're cracking on with finding his replacement, the longer it drags on the more it hurts them kernts at Ancient Trafford. Arbitration would be a ****ing hoot to be a fly on the wall at though, especially in light of recent developments....it would have been hilarious to start with but the fact he's been sending emails well before being put on gardening leave just makes it even funnier!
