Means a bit of travel but you can go whale watching out of Gloucester. Train from North Station takes just over an hour, book with either Yankee Fleet or Captain Bob's. Great day out.

Same train calls into Salem on the way up, decent for half a day. Loads of reenactment of which trials, street theatre, occult shops etc. Some a bit tacky and done in a Disney style, some quite macabre and gruesome.

Little town called freising just outside of Munich in Sept for me. Love Germany especially cities like Munich, koln and the little towns along both banks of the rhine.

We've just had a wonderful time (last week) looking after grandkids at Whinfell Forest (near Penrith). It was tiring, but very enjoyable, and it gave their parents a break, too :emoticon-0100-smile 20240607_103023.jpg

Still severe pain when walking over 100 yards
Had some physio off our ex Sunderland physio last week got another session tomorrow
The nhs waiting list is 17 weeks I’ve been told
Can’t have this severe pain that long we go to Stalis 1st July for 2 weeks I can

It’s spoilt out holiday in pefkos could walk 100yards each side of hotel
However in Stalis I know the lie of the land and will move about more with rests

You north or south of the river? Or did we meet at the play off final at the casino a couple of years back?

We didn’t meet, then!! At least you’re close to the CBD. Me and Mrs K have done 17 years this year. What do you reckon to Perth/WA so far?
