Happy days, and no way in hell would Still be coming in if he wasn’t confident he was given the tools to succeed, buzzing for the summer, clubs sorting itself out, euros round the corner, good times ahead
I think this is the biggest point for me. His reputation is possibly the highest it will ever be, there will be jobs for him in Ligue 1, possibly some prem jobs and defo high end championship jobs. Would be a big risk for him to come to a team that finished bottom half championship, he will want assurances that foundations are in place to giving him the best chance to keep his career trajectory going upwards. It would be an exciting appointment and real coup for us imo, even if it doesn’t end up working out.
100% mate he may be young but he’s not a mug, the fact we’re willing to let him bring in 3 members of staff shows changes are coming too, really can’t wait for him to get in and get going
i am again refusing to get caught up in all the waiting and whining (so far) but sticking to my thoughts that the club have been quietly sorting all of this out in the background and right now there are plenty who have earned a holiday, players, managers, agents (boo hiss) and many players are on the list so the new coach/manager can add his two pence...then everything will start to move fast when they return with tans.
If it is Still, hope we give him the time he may need to succeed and don’t get rid if we’re not immediately successful.
