The longer it drags on the more I feel he is just stringing us along to see if he gets a better offer. Would prefer Acun to announce he has pulled the plug on him

I do think its fair to have concerns about how long its going on - considering what happened last time we hired a manager.

I'm slightly surprised Walter wasn't all but done before we sacked Rosie.

Fingers crossed its just because its the off season and no-one is in that much of a hurry.

Yeah considering how long Acun said the differences in opinions had been going on, you’d have thought they’d have given themselves a head start

he was out of a job since February and he stated he wanted to work in the English leagues and he has met Acun and Tan a few times so unless there is something he now has second thoughts about I would have thought it would have already been wrapped up by now because now season is over other clubs will be possibly looking at him.

It could be that things aren't aligning in terms of getting him here and ready for a press announcement.

It could be a minor thing which is probably trickier to solve at this time of year as people will have organised stuff for their life over the summer.

But the longer it goes on the more unsure it seems.

Acun mentioned the other night and the German on the 1904 podcast that he had interest elsewhere

Then why the hold up Acun said he was the man he excited him everything about the way he played the football , he was out of work what other reason could there be they had meetings if he was keen and Acun was then surely it should be done.
 
Just reading about Norwich and their search, they want some Az alkmaar.ex manager. Sounds like they are looking for the same thing we are
 
FFS Acun has said that within 2 days of giving Liam the heave ho he had 15 applications for the job, probably got a whole load more since then. Now he may have wanted Walter, but if someone better has thrown their hat into the ring he may reconsider that idea.

Just listened to the latest 1904 podcast.
This Walter sounds like a basket case.

doesn’t bother analysing the opposition for the next match.

He picks the goalkeeper with the best feet, so Allsop might have a future after all.

He hasn't reconsidered, Walter is the one he wants. Which speaks to his single mindedness in the face of other applications. Acun has spoken repeatedly about. Walter being the one he wants.
