West Ham had a touch of the ball in City's half!

And a West Ham goal! Kudus with a bicycle kick. Superb goal.

No changes in the title race. No changes in the top four. No changes in the top six. No changes in the relegation battle.

    The Premier League, 2023/24. Zzz...

A saw a stat the other day that, since GW15 when Everton beat Newcastle to overtake Luton, the bottom three has remained completely unchanged.

23 consecutive weeks of reading 18 Luton, 19 Burnley, 20 Sheff Utd.

    Worst relegation "battle" ever?

Yeah even though we were totally useless, even last year it changed a bit.

Imagine how they’d have described it if Klopp had won it instead!

You’d have had to wipe their excitement off the screen first.

They’re based in Manchester? So these days that’s their preference as it used to be any London club. Not bothered tbh, there is no exciting PL race anymore. But I could get excited when the 115 issues that face MC get seriously looked at.

Credit to Arsenal, they put themselves in position to win the title if City did anything but win their final nine matches. Too bad they won their final nine matches.

They even had to start docking points from other teams to make it more exciting.

In terms they would understand, the product is becoming stale.

I’d forgotten there was even football on. Unlike last time we went down I’ve barely followed the PL this season and it looks like I have missed absolutely nothing. Just boring and predictable.

All they have left is to fellate a club sat on 115 charges of rule/finance violations for breaking the record of consecutive league wins. What a credit to the sport.

It's not like Man City achieved an unassailable points total this season. Nor are they the only team to have spent a billion or close to it. I thought this year they would struggle having lost the players they did in the summer, they are weaker this season IMO. It was more the mentality/Pep (and Foden) that got them the title this year and nobody else having that Champions mentality. Arsenal came close, and were arguably the best team this season. But they are not the title winning juggernaught that City are under Pep and have yet to bridge that gap.

I assume Palace are going to be the sacrificial team thats torn apart this summer for daring to bloody a few noses and have a few star players that are 'too good for them'. Bournemouth could lose a few too. Such is the life of a PL team outside the top few teams.

    Absolutely this.

I'd also not really followed the PL this season (apart from the traditional 'hope Liverpool lose' interest) but the BBC orgasms, on a news programme, this morning over Man City were a bit vomit inducing really. You'd think City were plucky heros fighting impossible odds not a state financed sports washing concern.

I look forward the the same unbiased reporting of that life long Newcastle Supporter, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as they fascinate and delight the football world with their crazy success story.

The one thing I have been keeping an eye on is the performance of Villa this season.

I'd never have pegged them to finish top 4 and I'm so glad they did - such a refreshing change.
