    So when every single Palestinian in Gaza is dead, will that be the end of Hamas? Maybe best nuke Iran to be on the safe side, eh.

    Course it won't ... and therein lies the real tragedy ... Israel's actions in Gaza will inevitably be the catalyst for many more future Palestinian resistance fighters than Hamas could muster ... whatever the **** they go on to call themselves ...

    It’s Persia actually. One of the world’s most ancient civilisations originated there. But we’ve already destroyed Babylon (Iraq). Starting to think this ****’s Biblical, proper Book of Revelation stuff.

    So it turns out there's been zero impact on Russia's gas and oil exports from the sanctions imposed by U.S., U.K and EU.

    They've been exporting it to India where it gets refined and then we the U.K. import it from them <doh>

    Russia is predicted to have the highest growth of any G7 country this year. They don’t care about sanctions and they’re not going to lose the war. Nor are they going to win it. Time for a ceasefire there as well, all this war **** is barbaric and insane.

    The war itself is a major driver in Russias GDP growth, increased investment in certain industries to fuel the war has seen their GDP increase.

    However PPP is not matching the growth, combined with high inflation the average Russian is worse off since the war began.

    2021, Russias GDP shrank by -2.1%. so in 2022 the big increase was GDP bouncing back, in 2023 huge industrial outputs increase, public spending increasing to try and improve logistics.

    Russia has increased its expenses by a huge amount and Russian industry can evidently not keep up with military demands.

    This is true, not to mention, Russia is one of the most corrupt countries on earth. There will not only be companies making billions from this, but people skimming millions off it and into their personal bank accounts.

    A lot of it as usual is driven by hysterical scaremongering. It's about time there was a negotiated settlement and that includes not parking ballistic missiles or nukes on Ruskie borders.

    My main point was how fcking full of **** our governments are. They know full well where the oil and gas is coming from. We're probably paying a mark-up as well which is even more batshit. No doubt some tory ****s somewhere will be making a pretty packet.

    Russia have been importing our cars as well, we just send them to different country and they then forward them on to Rusisa, so there has been no decline in exports. <laugh>

    I wouldn't say zero. Having to include middle men and pay to transport stuff out the way adds costs. So it will be less profitable for them.

    Probably still hugely profitable, but not as it could be. Not like it was.

    Same with military investments, that's common, it's common to have a little economic boom during wartime as the government invest in military... But it's not sustainable. There is debt building up and although infrastructure for military construction is helping the economy,.it's taking from.other arenas and in a few years the economy will stagnate again.

    Take WWII. Germany looked prosperous and booming during pre war and war time but they were in debt over their heads. Even if we hadn't retaken Normandy, Germany would have collapsed economically within a few years and would have ground to a halt.

    Russia's economy may be looking OK right now, and they may be finding ways around restrictions but a resurgence economically is only temporary . No doubt they will continue to get by though.

    So Iran...

    Just a crash? Or did Israel just pull off an epic assassination?

    Timing too coincidental, had to be Israel, but we'll probably never know for sure.

    Assassination was my first thought

    But then I saw the actual weather conditions and instead put it down to an extremely busy schedule combined by a lack of due diligence and a pretty old helicopter.

    It was ****ing horrific weather, rain, fog, high wind.

    As any rational person knew already...

    On the basis of evidence collected and examined by my Office, I have reasonable grounds to believe that Benjamin NETANYAHU, the Prime Minister of Israel, and Yoav GALLANT, the Minister of Defence of Israel, bear criminal responsibility for the following war crimes and crimes against humanity committed on the territory of the State of Palestine (in the Gaza strip) from at least 8 October 2023:

    Starvation of civilians as a method of warfare as a war crime contrary to article 8(2)(b)(xxv) of the Statute;
    Wilfully causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or health contrary to article 8(2)(a)(iii), or cruel treatment as a war crime contrary to article 8(2)(c)(i);
    Wilful killing contrary to article 8(2)(a)(i), or Murder as a war crime contrary to article 8(2)(c)(i);
    Intentionally directing attacks against a civilian population as a war crime contrary to articles 8(2)(b)(i), or 8(2)(e)(i);
    Extermination and/or murder contrary to articles 7(1)(b) and 7(1)(a), including in the context of deaths caused by starvation, as a crime against humanity;
    Persecution as a crime against humanity contrary to article 7(1)(h);
    Other inhumane acts as crimes against humanity contrary to article 7(1)(k).

    In the same company as such esteemed maniacs as Vladimir Putin, Gaddafi, Slobodan Milosevic, Radovan Karadzic, and Herman Goering <ok>

    Yeah I saw that this morning, no surprise really, also trying to get warrants to arrest the Hamas leaders as well.

    I know at this stage it may all seem pointless, but they thought that in Yugoslavia and eventually held some to account - I think one of them topped themself as a result at the trial and sentencing. .

    Stiill doubt it will actaully happen though, as in him being brought to trial.
