I'll be honest, once 4th became a statistical impossibility I stopped being that bothered about how we were doing in the league. Radio is trying to make me care about 6th, 7th, 8th place "race" and I just don't.

I'll enjoy European games if we get some but finishing just above mid-table isn't some big win.

 

You don’t fancy a bit of Europa or conference league? Newcastle could be big contenders in either competition

 

I'll like us being in them when they come around but I'm not hyped for making 7th spot (or 5th, 6th if the last few games had gone perfectly for us).

I can accept celebrating 4th as CL offers money and exposure which can help a lot but us, Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham have been so wildly inconsistent I don't see how many of our teams fans can be that happy at the season. Been entertaining though, we could play your lot tomorrow and win 5-0 or lose 5-0 and neither would be a surprise.
