I blame the IT. There's probably a lot of money to be made by the person who creates an almost infinitely expandable payment processing system, but it is probably limited by network capacity, especially to/from the card providers. That, and not wanting to work on a Sunday. They're probably doing a system upgrade, as no-one needs to spend money on a Sunday morning. It's a bit like the M3, which always has lane closures after every Saints game. I think the Highways England project manager is a bitter Pompey fan

Got a tickets in the end but wouldn’t let me select anything but adult tickets, and not sure exactly where the seats are. Website was useless, half loading and not letting me deselect seats etc. now to try and figure out coach tickets but they’ve put me back in the queue again for that

Would your payment provider/card company show that a payment has been taken, yet?

Coach tickets also purchased now. You have to go back into the queue and then select Travel (in case anyone else was as confused as I was on what you needed to do).

Well, that was a mess and stupidly stressful. The page to select seats never loaded properly for me, I tried it multiple times but it was utterly **** to try and use. I assume that’s the point where I should have been able to select a concession ticket rather than adult but there was never that option for me. Then when I assigned supporter numbers from my friends and family. I assumed it would automatically then pick up that that supporter was over 65 and get the cheaper ticket. But no. Just paid that full price in the end as first time I tried to go back to figure out how to get the concession it got confused and froze me out for 30 minutes with half bought tickets.

Similar happened to me. Eventually got an email saying payment failure, booking not processed. Which then allowed me to select new seats again and buy them after queueing again. I couldn’t do that until the email came through from the club that payment had failed though

It's seems to vary between grounds as to what age qualifies for the over-age price, and my Dad currently falls right in that range - so sometimes he does qualify and sometimes he doesn't. In this case, with the age limit at 65, he doesn't qualify and therefore I knew in advance that I was going into buy two standard tickets yesterday. But it did occur to me later that I hadn't noticed where the option was to change a standard ticket into a concessionary ticket.

I was buying a ticket for my Dads partner is safely over 65. But yeah, I never saw the option to change or select the ticket type. Be interested to hear if anyone else manages it, and at what stage it was!

Couple queries for anyone who may be able to help. The website says that the tickets are open to paid members from 11am - tomorrow Monday 20th.

I assume paid membership mean Saints Plus? If I was to purchase this for me & my Dad now, would this make us eligible for tickets tomorrow?

    thanks in advance ♥️

Well that was the most stressful morning for a long time.

So payment woes (as hanging), then crashed with 'something went wrong'. Then went in in another queue and I got in, but couldn't buy as it said i had already bought, even though in my account it showed as abandoned....

4th attempt (bear in mind it is an hour and a half after i started) and it let me buy. In my confusion it wouldn't let me select the two i wanted and suggested two others, saw the seat numbers are consecutive so clicked buy, had the over 65 hassle for my mate, then bought and payment went through. Looked at what I purchased and we are 3 rows apart! I give up. Block 143, going to friggin Wembley, que sera sera.

If seats are greyed/blacked out, they’re sold. Have to look for the bright green dots, then click on those. Then they’ll become a circle with a tick on, meaning you’ve selected.

Nightmare! What row are you? We are row 22 and looks like the 5 of us straddle an aisle between block 142 and 143

I'm not in any mega rush because I know i'll get tickets today come what may, but I swear the seat map was bugged out when I logged in.

The 10 seconds I got before it kicked me out that is.

Just to put a different perspective on things, I've just spent several hours this morning trying to replace an old outside light with a new one, that my wife got for free, but "It's still in its box, so it must be OK". Take bits out of the box, but no instructions, several bolts missing. Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained, so I screwed the back plate to the wall, then realised that the bolts which hold the cover on need to be put into place in the back plate, so I removed the back plate. Then the bolts didn't protrude enough to attach to the covering nuts, which meant removing the back plate again, putting blue tack behind the nuts, so that they stay still/don't drop backwards. Finally got the light on the wall, but no bolts in the box for the cover/lid. I spent 20 minutes trying to find bolts of the right length and width, found two that fit, but look rather rough, and eventually we've now got a working outside light, which we had yesterday, but the 'old one looked tired'. So do I, so do I !!
So if anyone wants to try again with my outside light, I'll willingly take their place in the ticket queue, and get them their tickets (as long as they're paying)
