While our rivals are starting work on signing all the good players. I'd certainly hope we're working with a bit more urgency than that.
There are not going to be many high-quality candidates wanting the job when the owner wants to lead the recruitment
Brucie knows that, and still chucked his hat in the ring on Humberside earlier... Or at least he got the 'in some capacity' bowl out. You'd be surprised who'd take it if the money was right
I just watch Liam's chat with Baz Cooper about the cup final day, and he mentioned one of his children was 6 on that day, so she would be 16 now.
I think we saw with the Allams that there are always managers willing to take jobs when you have a club at this level. There are only so many championship clubs about, and many more managers, and managing at one of those clubs is desirable. I'm sure we'll have no trouble getting someone. My concern would be how much time is spent on this process while our rivals are cracking on with recruitment.
You think Tim is holding out for the Norwich job? Or are you talking about player recruitment? Acun already confirmed that Tan and his team are already working on a list of targets for the new Manager to say yay or nay to.
As the recruitment will have **** all to do with whoever comes in I think everyone can put the wet wipes away.
FFS. Is this a woosh wind up or for real. The owner doesn't, and doesn't want to "lead the recruitment". It's been explained many times how it works, and not just in the past couple of weeks. The chief scout was even on the podcast earlier this year explaining it all. Please stop talking nonsense that is so negative against the owner and our club. It really isn't helping the cause.
OK, so he didn't recruit anyone against Rosie's wishes? And to be fair I don't prescribe to the idea that he leads recruitment, just that he's comfortable going ahead with signings without the manager's agreement.
How do posts on this forum "help" the cause? Because you certainly haven't helped it all season in that case.
