Thats cos he goes into every game expecting to struggle. It doesn't matter if the opposition are at the bottom of the table, he'll find some positive crap to big them up. Obviously feels the fans won't be as upset when we think the opposition are better than they are. Bit disappointing to see only five replies to this tread. Has our support finally been brainwashed by the Bates propaganda machine? I hope not. If the bulk of our support are happy to settle for mediocrity then we really are finished
I'm disappointed with our squad, our diminished support and our current league placing. However, I find it difficult to judge Grayson on his ability when he's only been working under Ken Bates. He laid the foundations for Blackpool's eventual success and we narrowly missed the play-offs last season. However the lack of progress this season is definitely a worry. Bates Out - then give Grayson a chance to flourish - if he doesn't, sack him.* (*Disclaimer - am aware how unlikely this scenario is...)
In the likely event Bates is around for another ten years, we're stuck with Larry till after that to see does he shape up. Not a mouth watering prospect I'm afraid
