We have gifted a very poorly performing City this result. Forget about ****ing over the Goobers. We have had loads of chances to take this game and wasted every one. That's disappointing.
Doku seems to be able to launch himself into space when "fouled". While the coverage was showing the horrendous Son miss, I think there had just been a foul when I'm not sure he was even touched but went off like a rocket.
It would just be nice to be able to celebrate some actual success for once. I've seen us win three trophies in my lifetime, the first I barely remember. And every time cheats like City succeed, the dream of seeing my own club do the same recedes a step further. City setting a record of most PLs in a row is a terrible, terrible thing for football. Simple as that.
I think it’s enjoying the fact that we have had a **** end to the season, played well tonight but still lost, and taking the rub that it means Arsenal won’t win the league. If I were there after a few beers I would be the same
We jeer arsenal most games though. Why should tonight be any different. plus we’ve played pretty well tonight. Can’t fault the players for effort. As with a lot of recent weeks, guys up top not been quite good enough.
I'm talking from a general perspective. It's sad that this is where we are as a club. It's even sadder that this is where football is as a sport.
I get your point, but just think of the alternative, the open top bus parade going through north London with all those gooners shouting “what do we think of Tottenham?”
Absolutely pathetic We should've lost 1-0 to an atrocious VAR call that might have actually seen an outbreak of spontaneous human combustion
In a way you are just proving the point I’m making, city winning means nothing to me. However Arsenal winning does
So you wanted to lose because the alternative makes you uncomfortable? I don't give a toss what Arsenal fans do, I simply don't care. I only care about Spurs.
My main feeling after that game is one of frustration. If we played with that level of intensity and if Ange had showed some of that flexibility in some of the games we’ve lost recently, then we wouldn’t have been in the **** situation we were in tonight. I’m never happy to see us lose but we played with heart, had some decent chances, and City scored a really good first goal. Perfect timing from KDB as we have come to expect over the years. Thought Dragusin had a good showing in particular as well. I hope we show up like that for the last game of the season and can end the campaign on a high.
