How do you know he would love to appoint him?

Youve just made something up to fit a narrative

"I've a nagging fear that KS would love to appoint Dodds but his results have been so bad KLD won't sanction it."

Sorry, my mistake, I thought you'd said KLD won't sanction it.

    By whom?

Speakman could have appointed him after getting rid of Mowbray. That would have been a full time appointment to. Then again after Beale. Dodds has done nothing other than his best, for this club, in rubbish circumstances. He isnt upto the head coach gig at this stage and everyone knows it, more so Speakman.

Its getting crazy now...we need a manager in place...he needs to make decisions on the squad and play a part in recruitment.

Just a thought, if it is Svensson then perhaps the delay is that the terms of his departure are that he would forfeit a payoff if he takes another job in the same season or that he's simply not permitted to. The Bundesliga season finishes this weekend so maybe we have to wait until then.

    All supposition of course.

Ditto with Reims and Still... might need to wait until end of their seasons even though they've left.

    So they should be.

I do agree that an appointment should be swiftly made though, certainly before end of the month.

I say this weekend for end of season. Contracts normally run to the end of a month so this weekend may not even be relevant...

So it looks like we are waiting for their contracts to end which will probably be 31st May. Probably looking at a Monday 3rd June announcement... 3 weeks to go

That's still imminent in business terms <cheers>
