Satisfied with that. Decent watch, we've looked decent on the ball, they've looked threatening on the counter. Each keeper has made one good save. With the heat, benches will be important and ours is strong.
It was straight at him because of his anticipation and moved across his goal before the header came in. Good keeping.
Lots of runs being made from deep but not being seen soon enough. Really need to turn the possession into real chances and we REALLY need to stop leaving one player unmarked at the back post for every free kick. Seriously I don’t know why we think this is a good thing.
As an aside, do injured players, such as Bazunu, actually attend on matchdays, home or away? Are they (possibly) contractually obliged to be part of the wider team, showing support, or can they go shopping, do the garden, etc?
He's a far, far better shot-stopper than Bazunu. I'm not even a Bazunu-hater but it's clear as day the difference in quality between them.
His long distribution is just as good as Bazunu's on today's evidence. It's his short distribution that's the worry lol.
He made a similar save at the Hawthorns back in February! Moving across his goal. And I dispute that McCarthy in goal would have got us the extra points needed for 2nd.
The issue with Adam in front of KWP is that he doesn't give KWP an option and forces him to pass back. Brooks and Fraser give is that option.
West brom sitting very deep and quite content to let us do our 1000 passes in defence. Need to change it up
I'm watching Hampshire v Durham cricket on my laptop, whilst listening to Saints. It's rather less rushed, but it makes for calmer viewing
