From a coaching point, we've got it right. Player wise, we've been poor as individuals making sloppy mistakes. We've been much better with Rutter off.
Were better first half but nervous now and think they were probably hoping to take something to Elland Road from the home fixture.
We came on strong second half and controlled it, hopefully Sargent will be out on Thursday. Drop Summerville and Rutter to the bench on Thursday, start Anthony and Gnonto Aren’t Norwich unbeaten at home this year
very good away performance that .. Norwich won't fancy Elland Road under the lights .. very professional, blunted Norwich attacking threats and in second half Leeds looked like the team in control .. well done lads, on we go
I know its a big game but wasn't expecting a game like that. but we have to be the happier roll on Thursday ! Leeds Man Of the Match Dan James lol.
Given where we've been for the last few weeks where we've been incredibly open, conceded shots at goal and therefore conceded too many goals, that's a much much better performance. We controlled the match after 20 minutes of sitting deeper and Meslier had nothing to do for the last hour or so. Much more like we were at the beginning of the year. Sitting a bit deeper was the right thing to do. For all the criticism, Farke got it right today. I think we'd all have taken a solid 0-0 going back to ER. The real disappointments today we're key individual players like Meslier, Firpo, Summerville, Gnonto and especially Rutter looking way off form and nervous. Hopefully this inspires a bit of confidence and today COULD be the green shoots of our form returning. Today went better than expected.
