See the tweet I edited in at the bottom

Also seen clips of the crowd being muted when cheering mention of the Dutch - and not even the Dutch contestant run out on a rail, the actual concept of Dutch people

My local town Macroom (where the Irish entry hails from) put on a Eurovision party which my missus attended. They had the show on a big screen and when Israel's song came on they switched it off and held a minutes silence for Palestine! :emoticon-0152-heart

Funny how the most "patriotic" are actively encouraging people to vote against the country they claim to love...

Well that's a brilliant look there, isn't it?

Women's safety? Sorry, got to go under the bus to appease the Daily Mail, so get out there and kiss Elphicke's backside

And on the subject of Phicko, the Tories really didn't think this plan of attack through, did they?

Reports that 3 more Tory MPs are looking to defect to Labour. Two of them ex-ministers. I think they're from the "one-nation" clan which tbf is the most sane wing of the Tory party at the moment.

Having said that, I hope that if they are defecting, all of them will be stepping down at the next general election. Something just not right with the last clown who came across and if these three have history of being right wing cranks then Labour really have lost their principles.

Phicko is stepping down at the election, which makes her defection not only pointless but also hamstrings the briefcase they're parachuting in for the election as he simply cannot answer the simple question "So how are you different from the Tories?"

I want her stepping down tbh.

The only advantage is that it makes the tories look weak to the electorate and even more in disarray. I can see a benefit there. But ppl like Elphicke have to fck off come the GE.

This is the Labour candidate at the GE

So who's supposed to be on the ground campaigning? The incumbent "Labour" MP, or the Labour candidate for the upcoming election?

It reeks that nobody thought this through

Hopefully. But maybe only having had his genitalia removed with a blunt knife and no anaesthetic! :emoticon-0148-yes:

Btt as others point out, what he is doing is a criminal offence - and a relatively serious one. Secret Service response will be interesting....

Quite possibly the stupidest collection of words you will read today

Sure: apart from the wealth of evidence of the public vote being gamed since the semi finals, the streaming numbers showing people who claim to have loved the song couldn't be bothered to listen to it on Spotify, or how at Eurovision the poor, sweet Russian angel who never did anything wrong got booed to ****
