The Swinton Hurdle market is heavily skewed by Fred Winter winner Lark In The Mornin at 7/4 fav. Not sure he will even run given the going report but even if he does I think Gin Coco could be the one to be on. Decent run at Plumpton after a short break and that should have him cherry ripe here.

Phew, pretty tough race, Oddy, some damn good handicappers in this. However, good luck with Gin Coco!

The Class-1 Swinton Handicap Hurdle (15:15) at Haydock is a very competitive affair with many of the 17-runners in with a real chance. Will stick with the lightly-raced,Tintintin, who will be ridden by Jonathan Burke for the Fergal O'Brien stable, plus a saver on the Harry Cobden/Paul Nicholls entry, Rare Middleton, who will no doubt be having a real crack at winning this race.

    Plus R/F Tintintin/Rare Middleton.

.......and that will do for me, folks. Have an enjoyable and successful day! :emoticon-0167-beer:

Ballyburn's half-sister, Churchfield Sunset, makes her racecourse bow in the 'lucky last', the 'fixture finale', the 'concluding contest' (I'll stop now!!!) at Cork tomorrow (5.40). She cost connections just €25,000 back in December '20 which, in view of Ballyburn's subsequent achievements, looks amazingly good value now!!!

Certainly one to look out for of the morrow.

First offspring of the dam that wasn’t sired by Flemensfirth - dam progeny also included Noble Endeavour. Daddy this time is Wings of Eagles who could do with a decent offspring TBH.

Morning gents. These 2 hurdle races at Haydock look impossible but somebody has to win. My speculative low stakes ew punts are Harbour Lake @ 8/1 in the 3 miler and Teddy Blue @ 12/1 in the 2 mile race. HL just has a solid profile and TB came 2nd in this race last year. I’ve also had small ew interest in Flight Deck @ 33/1 in the 3 mile race. Ran some decent races in graded company earlier in the season and I just feel even at 10 he’ll pop up in one of these races at some point. Good luck all

Winner went in by 15-lengths! What sort of wheaties did he have for breakfast? Tintintin ran a good race to finish 1/2- length behind the second horse. Rare Middleton finished 6th, I believe, so both did OK in this 17-runner field. But, 15 bloody lengths, really makes one wonder a bit?

I'm sorry to hear that. For me, he was the most likely of the three to win, but we know what happens in Ireland. From 11/2 to 3/1f, but only 3rd.
