Teams at higher level dont give you that space Ie championship Better teams dont just have technically better players But players who are tactically better as well I genuinely think rotherham of this season Would get close to promotion there
We're onto a great start, we need two £20m centre backs. It's going to live or die on the quality of the recruitment and it'll need to be near perfect to play this style effectively. Assuming Omur plays more central you'll need 2/3 wingers and a couple of strikers German gaffers are usually tactically astute so I think we'll see a very toned down version which will be similar to Rosieball but we'll commit more players forward but we'll be defensively more fragile.
are you serious? you said you cant create space in the championship I asked how you scored goals you said by the ball crossing the line we can do this slowly and ponderously - you'll like that! How can you get the ball to cross the line?
No I said you cant have the space in the championship that the ludicrous hamburg v schalke game had Both those teams would have been relegeated in this seasons championship
maybe so but you can still create space in the championship when City put their mind to it they would
Guess whose contract is up at his club? Our old pal Di’Shon Bernard. I always said when he was on loan here that he was really good at carrying the ball out of defence and had the attributes to even play defensive mid. He’s had a good season at Wednesday. I think he’d suit what Walter wants in a centre-back more than Jones or Macca.
Value wise Di'shon Bernard on a free is best out there. Been great for Wednesday, fast, decent on the ball and physical. Callum Doyle on loan would also be top of my list but not sure that's possible
It was sarcasm, the point was that you need two ridiculously high level centre backs to play like this. They have to be able to defend 1 on 1, be pacey, be able to play through the lines extremely well, and be able to drop a shoulder and drive into space. I was really disappointed with how limited he was with the ball at his feet considering he's come through a massive club. I've not seen much of him at Wednesday, but he did have a lot of good attributes for a young centre half.
I'm sure there's plenty if you have the scouting network I read that Brighton follow 85k players and have detailed databases on 5k
You cant play like his hamburg at this higher level Becasue one dink of a shoulder from a centre back doesnt give them 40 yards of clear space The difference in off the ball play between that and the championship is extroadinary 2nd bundesliga is a **** level of football
