I think the new manager is going to have to un-coach some of our players, tell them it’s okay to be creative and make forward passes
https://footballmaestros.com/phases-of-play-1/innovative-build-up-tim-walter-holstein-kiel-1819 Certainly more freedom in these clips but they'll need to be fit to keep the movement up. Those rotations in the final clip are enough to make you dizzy. Some high risk football in there
Low press, high press, gegenpress, counter press, single pivot, double pivot, in transition, playing through the lines, heavy metal football, false nine, false ten, I can’t take this bollocks anymore. Just put your foot through the ****. To quote Billy Joel.
but the biggest difference is not just the technical ability its the coaching the championship doesnt have teams that are so easily opened like that championships teams press far far more aggressive than that this line is funny "with many expecting him to progress to the elite level before long. Promotion with Stuttgart is certainly on the cards, and VfB are currently level on points with 1st placed Hamburger after three games of the Bundesliga 2 campaign. " turns out tim didnt get stuttgart promoted as he was sacked by them.. and now stuttgart are in the champions league places.. 3rd in bundesliga while he failed to get hamburg promoted after 3 attempts till hes sacked there too while jackson irvine will be promoted with hamburgs city rivals st pauli hehe as is not so elite afterall is our tim
I loved the movement The players created space like you are told to but you rarely see City doing Instead of playing suicide passes out from the goalkeeper they moved around until someone was free
we didnt even try we stood around hoping the ball would be passed to us - not every time and not everyone - but it was a large part of the time
I know what I saw you just said you cant move around at this level yet went on to criticise me when I said we didnt move around sounds contradictory to me
Becasue you just say all we did was pass it between jones and greaves And then saw a clip from 5 years ago And think why didnt we just do that
There was too much passing back and forth at the back. Most teams responses to that was to get into their defensive shape and wait for City to come towards them. There was a mixture of passing around for long periods in our own half I cba looking for more im going to be honest Maybe i will tommorow But its awkward on phone
