Others still in contention and ongoing issues. This is ****ing me off to be honest if it's true. They've had 5 months to sort this **** out and we're still in this phase. It needs sorting, not dragging on. The stuff surrounding the financials is also annoying me. We've seen in this league with teams like Ipswich, QPR and Sheff Wednesday that if you get the get the right head coach in it can work wonders amd seeing our performance this season should be enough to re-look at the structure and model and tweak it accordingly. Sounds very much like they're not willing to budge on any of it. Get it sorted man. Rightly or wrongly, it looks from the outside like Hull have taken about 3 days to find their new man. We're still messing about 5 months later. (If what you say is true mind)
I wouldnt be bending over too much for him mind. There are others who are a match for him in my opinion.
Its really frustrating pal...as a club we've had long enough to do our business and appoint a manager..especially as we can see other clubs do their business in a good timescale. The model is buy young and get potentially brilliant footballers..then for them to develop then sell for profit. Also, the delay and news last week...all points to Still..well thats what it looks like
Just to be clear - - I dont know who the manager is going to be - Im not a ITK I was in a resturant speaking to someone I know who is a agent and knows more than me. I just passed on the info he knows..again he will not know all the info just snippets. He said the below - - Will Still is apprently our number one managerial target. (Weve tracked him for a while) - SAFC have a clear and sometimes unflexable recruitment model. - Speakman is a good guy and the football operations run through him at this moment in time - SAFC ecpected to lose 2 key first team players - we will receive a lot of money. - SAFC expected to be busy in the transfer window with multiple new players. (I joked does this include a striker - probs not).
I think itll be those 2, would be sad to see them go as i like both players but do feel for us to improve as a team we will need to bring in good money from sales to reinvest Actually looking forward to this summer, massive summer ahead but has the potential to be a really exciting one
I'll feel a lot better about this summer if they; A) got a manager in the next 14 days that they back to the hilt who can hopefully maximise our potential B) show a want to change their philosophy for the good of the club/team by acquiring a few experienced first team lads, whether we pay a small fee or get them for nothing Lads like Alex Mowatt, Chris Willock, Jake Cooper or even an older keeper.
hmm, i have kept off as there just seemed to be no movement at all since beale went, i was pretty much hoping the 'deal was done' and would be announced at season end...now hoping it is sorted and all 'interested parties' are having themselves a bit of a vacation before it all gets announced or the club are trying to make damn sure they get it right and checking out a few candidates.
Appreciate the info and for passing it on. The content surrounding the clubs attitude and behaviour towards it seems very frustrating. Put you pass it on and for us fans it's good to know
With RR coming out with it too, gotta believe you. But recently I did see links to Norwich and Hull. Hes a good start but I doubt he's much of a leader.
