You’ve never embellished the truth in a job interview before? I don’t think when Acun spoke to Rosenior about entertaining football being one of the things he’s looking for in a coach, Liam said ‘oh, well I coach boring football but we will have the most touches in our own half in the league!’.

If I remember rightly, Rosenior said in one of his first interviews that he wants his team to attack in ways not seen at this level. In theory you could easily sell the best bits as entertaining football when he’s explaining his style of play

Woah cowboy…hold your horses….

For balance, there was at least 3 matches at home last season where for about five minutes the football was some of the most exciting we’ve seen at the KC.

You lot are just uncultured

The owner wants attacking football and doesn't mind if we lose 5-4

That's fine but I do wonder why he appointed Rosenior in the first place then

He appointed him first and foremost to get us out of the mire Shota left us in. Acun might not mind losing 5-4 but he doesn't want League 1 football

I think Walter will get it, which I'm fine with provided we get the players in to suit the system.

Kalman will discover his own Schwarzschild radius if we get Walter and don't sign a proper defensive midfielder. <laugh>
Yes but a defensive midfielder that rotates

So your saying 17 teams below us played League 1 football i do not think we played League 1 football at all this year or we would not have finished where we did.

I think the problem is Rosie does believe his football is attacking and entertaining

As I remember and others will correct me, I’m not sure applicants were beating down the door. Acun probably thought Rosie’s affinity to the club helped with the “one family one dream”

So a bloke who hasn’t achieved anything of significance in a league which is inferior to the one we play in, and who has been sacked twice for his underachievement, is the right chap for us because he adopts a gung ho, you score four we’ll score five attitude, throwing caution to the wind and employs his goalkeeper as a centre half?

There’ll be tears.

We’ll see some spectacular lobbed goals by the opposition though!

But still gave him a new contract in December

??? How TF do you get that? Rosie was appointed when we were 19th / 20th and going down. He kept us up that season. The question was why he got the gig in the first place, not what he did in the season just gone. Nowhere did I say we played league 1 football last year - clearly we didn't -and nor did a lot of the teams below us.
