Copper Knight @ 14/1 ew in the opener at Chester. Has this ol boy got one more good run in him? Drawn well enough and a basement mark based on his previous accomplishments. Good luck all

    FERROBIN 33/1 Huntingdon 1:50
This chap is a ridiculous price today. A fortnight ago he won at the track over todays trip a shade cosily having long been out of form. He was 66/1 that day so quite unexpected. It's hard to work out why he had such a dramatic change in form but I am putting it down to the young lad who rode him and is on board again today.
The lads name is Murray Dodd and I would be surprised if any of you have heard of him. He works for Alastair Ralph but rides out for a number of yards and is still an amateur. His recent form has been something else. He rode Ferrobin to victory then had a winner at the Cheltenham hunter chase meeting and only a couple of days ago won on a Mel Rowley 10/1 shot with one of the coolest and cheekiest wins you could ever wish to see. Every now and then a young lad comes along that is 7lbs of a gift for your fancy, he is that lad currently.

I'd add Toby McCain-Mitchell to that too. He seems to be getting rides for Nigel TD

Simply Blue was a naughty boy on his first day at school and Kingscote showed great skill in jumping off twice at the stalls. He did get away but not that well. I thought he travelled comfortably throughout the race but in the end had a very gentle race. One for the notebook.

The winner, Teej A, was very impressive. A nice winner for Mehmas. I'm sure a lot more will come.

(16:30) Huntingdon, is an Open Maiden Bumper on good ground. The 4YO filly, Dawn Parade, might well surprise in this affair on her debut run? Harry Skelton rides for the family stable.

7/1 (Unibet/BetVictor) top price early-doors on the ATR site. E/W best option.

Contacto had no sort of race. He'll win again on a galloping track.
