Yeah they have for the most part been very mediocre. Individual quality in their squad is the reason they did as well as they did, being honest that’s potentially a top half premier league side. It’s no surprise they won the league and even then they struggled in the end.

I think he knew it was coming but I dont agree with your other bits
I get that impression from Baz Cooper
I rely on Baz more than what Acun tells us. Note: Acun knows more but he might not always give the whole story.

I get that the football side of things is much more nuanced than that, but it's not complicated to feel that Acun might be just be as stubborn and unwilling to change as many on here said Rosie was.

Is that the same Baz who told us one day the Steve Cooper was of no interest and the next day told us he was of interest?

I remember us getting Festus Arthur - it seemed like they didnt want him in the first team squad
Max Clark - is that the Max Clark who played for us previously? Strange signing!

What you have to remember with Baz is that, ultimately, it's his job to get people to read the Hull Daily Mail. That isn't meant as a criticism of him, but rather the way online news works these days. These website rely on clicks and page views to justify the ads, which pay the bills. If saying Steve Cooper is a target gets clicks, then they'll publish that Steve Cooper is a target.

I think Arthur played a League Cup game for us - can't remember him starting any league games but might be wrong. Seemingly has found his level in the National league. Yes same Max Clark

Max Clark came through the academy, he was ten when he signed for us and was considered a hot prospect, he was in the England youth set up for a while but never really kicked on.

Festus Arthur started in two cup games, they're the only game he played for us.

Oddly Walter is 1/2 with sky bet, hopefully the odds above are correct

Not necessarily, as a lot of what he says will be true and trustworthy, but it doesn't benefit the HDM to publish that sort of stuff straight away. What gets published and when will be up to his editor, which would be James Smailes. For example, Baz hinted at knowing more about the manager situation at the live 1904 pod and it's entirely possible he does know who's most likely to get the job – but the publication will draw that out as much as possible, because it's in its best interest to do so.

It's also worth nothing that a lot of what gets published isn't written by Baz either, as it might often be generic media group content or something handled by another staff writer.

Interesting that Shaun Maloney keeps cropping up, don't think he's been mentioned once on here.

I can’t believe that in November when he said that he hadn’t already decided to invest in January.

    I’m not mourning.
But I didn’t find the football, even at home, boring and turgid.
That’s just an opinion, not a fact, so don’t be surprised if people who have a different opinion feel differently about things.
I think we played, in patches, some superb football.
    Opinions innit

    Fatih Terim ?

Is that just because he's a Turkish manager that they've heard of ?

Probably and I think Acun even mentioned yesterday that the new manager wouldn't be Turkish.
