Listened to Acun on TalkSport. So he wants attacking football and that would appear to be the reason for Rosenior’s demise.
I know that on several occasions towards the end of the season we played without a recognised striker on the pitch. Remarkably winning some playing Liams system.
The injury for several weeks of Delap was a huge factor and Connolly was never the same player after his collision with the Norwich keeper.
Home form without doubt lost us the chance of the playoffs.
So it’s to be attacking football next season. The Ipswich team certainly showed that in the three all draw at the MKM.
They played attacking football from the start if we play with that intent I’m all for it.
Rosenior will no doubt find another club soon and good luck to him, he deserves success.

If it was too late why not sack him back in March? We had 3 weeks without a game.

make of it what you will but the problem doesn't seem to be scoring goals but letting them in at the other end although it can easily be argued that when we do score more we tend to let in more - having said that we really need to look at tightening the defence next season

He did say JEX 'we were aligned until January', then he gave him all the tools standing in 6th position. He then somehow managed to win 3 in 13 and let teams who literally limped into the top 6 beat us. Out thought and out fought. And as for people saying Acun is meddling, he paid 1.5 for a keeper Rosenior wouldn't play, he had others played out of position (Slater/Coyle), Jaden right instead of left, the Sinik situation, I suspect even Giles not playing comes into it..

 

Seems the opposite of what Acun wants.

 

Something that people harp on about him sorting when he first came.

 

And scored the most goals we've scored in 5 years at this level.

Comments on Giles are interesting mirror exactly what I said, done it everywhere he’s been now not assisting and benched for Jacob… Zaroury must be ****e too…

 

Acun has said a lot of things. Top 6 wasn't a necessary this year. We're one family. Building for the long term.
It's hard to know which things he's said that we should believe

Does he? I haven't heard it yet, but from the bits reported on here, it sounds like he lost confidence in LR style, and that's why he was let go, not because we missed out on the top 6?
