So players that developed in our first team squad were down to Rosenior's coaching, players that didn't develop are nothing to do with Rosenior's coaching. Right, got it.
So you think Acun's plan is to destroy the club from the inside? Because that is what your suggestion amounts to.
Maybe. Maybe not. If the investment and lack of success in January was enough for Acun to fire Rosie, who says he’ll feel comfortable rolling the dice again so soon. I think Acum is going to opt for attacking play over investment with the next manager, personally.
Suppose we have a moderate start to the new season - 12 or 13 points from 10 games. Next up we home to the team who have appointed Rosie. Rosie gets a rapturous welcome and then they score first. Are will still chanting for Acun to give us a wave? Uncomfortable times ahead?
You’re being hyperbolic. Im saying I think financial backing doesn’t come this summer, it comes later when trust has been earned.
Plenty of clubs recruit managers most football fans have never heard of. It depends on how well the club does it's research. I would accept that the owner hasnt done very well in the past but hopefully they have been looking at options since January. Dont take any notice of those who make out the sacking was a shock to Rosenior.
Where is that flair and style coming from? We have a paper thin squad now that the loanees have gone and others are not being renewed. We will need to sign some players (and that will take investment) and I suspect we will get a mixture of loans and permanents - some of which will be funded by getting players we no longer want off the books
Safer to give it to an unproven manager than the one that had us on the cusp of the play offs? Bonkers.
He'll hire someone who prioritises attack over everything else. I agree we have a paper thin squad, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's mostly what they have to work with until Christmas at the earliest. I would happily be proven wrong, and I hope I am.
