Good players will understand that a manager has a better chance if they are appointed before the season starts. There's a lot of judgement involved in football. I don’t know this Walters guy but having had a look at his background I can see why he would make sense. I’d prefer someone with his experience than Will Still who I appreciate did pretty well in France but is really inexperienced in football and in life.

We missed a play-off place by missing 2 pens v Watford. So Acun is now the smiling assassin. Pressure on the new man straight away and I'm hoping someone is appointed sooner rather than later. We missed a play off place due to not being good enough consistently enough over a season. If you want to start making it about certain things, there's tons of instances that have cost us ranging from misses pens, missing open goals, conceding stupid goals, GK mistakes and LR being way to cautious
