    Is Biden running again?

They are ****ing desperate if that's the case.

Nearly 400 million people and those two are the best they can muster.

    Broken electoral system.

I think the Democrats have cocked up big time by not having somebody challenge Biden in the primaries. Or at least having a quiet word in Biden's ear asking him not to stand again.

Both parties had the chance to replace them and didn't, so I'd say there's an element of you get what you deserve in there if it wasn't for the inevitable hell on either of them winning is going to cause and it's the normal people who'll suffer.

Nobody over 60 should be running a country.

Don't agree with your final comment, but the intention is clear,.....short term gain. No-one seems willing to confront, and to accept, the issues which require patience and a longer period approach to fix. Same in the UK,it's the system that's broken.

We will be looking to spend lots more time in the UK if the Orange One gets back in. The 4 years he was in power were so toxic. Don’t want to be here during the election either. Win or lose Trump and some of his supporters will be dangerous. It was so tense after the last election, it felt like we were on the brink of civil war! Scared for my kids who due to work can’t just flit off to another country like my husband and I can. Scary times.
Both candidates are way too old to be running.

I sometimes sit and laugh at the state of US politics but then quickly remember the state of ours and sigh. The supposed leaders of the free world acting like we both do, shameful.

US politics, like ours, is fücked.

The more depressing analysis should be the lack of appealing alternatives to the two candidates.

If there seriously isn’t anyone more viable than Biden or Trump there is absolutely no chance for that country.

It’s like they go to a care home, pick a bunch of the least capable or most offensive people and draw straws.

They manage to make our politics look world class.

Maybe that's what Boris meant by 'world class' . . . . in comparison

Only in America could you have a former President facing multiple criminal charges and still likely to get voted in.
You know what will happen - he'll delay and delay as much as possible, then give himself a Presidential pardon when elected.

Can you imagine Trump being forced to resign for attending some parties during Covid? :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Winston Churchill was 65 when he became Prime Minister in 1940.
