Fairly sure that every one who has posted on here has at some time this season criticised or questioned rosies selections, set up, tactics, substitutions and most of all team performances. When things gelled it looked fantastic the following week it could be and sometimes was garbage. With what we had I would say we under performed, that's not where we finished in the league (some will say that is the only measure) but the performances particularly at home. If you're going to replace a manager surely now is the time to do it, better than after doing all the transfer business and 10 15 or 20 games into the season.
Dont be daft, there will be resumes flying into the club as we type, another one who doesn’t know how football management works
The old adage, there’s no sentiment & loyalty in football……but this is taking the biscuit Not funny I know, gutted. Acun has gone from hero to zero in a few days, from buying drinks for the travelling support at Plymouth, to this. The silence is deafening, he needs to come out on the front foot quickly. Edit, just seen club statement.
Acun's plans may have changed after our display at Plymouth, Liam couldn't get the performance out of the team when it was needed. OK, we had an outside shot at getting into the play-offs, but the performance lacked passion, aggression and guile. Acun has had a good long weekend to think things through and has decided that Liam hasn't got the nouse / experience yet to be trusted with with City possibly spending £30m + more on players - that is after we sell Greaves / Philogene and the Biscuit King opens his wallet. Ballsy decision by Acun and Tan, I hope it pays off.
Tan Kesler worked for the Turkish FA and was an intermediary (a bit like an agent but for clubs) for Wasserman, he absolutely is qualified to make football decisions, it's why he was brought in.
Completely agree with that the early recruitment was shocking how much Tan was involved with that I have no idea. Not sure why we dont have a sporting director or head of recruitment like other clubs.
I thought the last display, and initial team selection, of the season was utter tripe and was really angry about it. It is, however, a terrible and unfair decision. No way would I want Potter, but it we got Cooper that might go some way to making the bitter pill easier to swallow.
please log in to view this image Heil City? He's not a Nazi lol, just thought it was a humorous photo.
Shocked and quite sad he has just been binned like this. I would have liked to have seen him given the chance to take us into next season. It's a big appointment to get right now. Just hope they can pull it off.
Would his job be under threat if he wasn't a mate of the owner ? Maybe he isn't the right man for the job either
Have Brighton approached Rosie I wonder? Just listened to that interview with Tan from last week and he sounded like he didn't know there was interest. If Rosie said he wanted to speak to them about the job, that might upset the applecart a bit.
