Nothing less than you would expect from an American consortium specifically one that includes Tom Brady.
"Evenin' all ! " It's Dicks-On of Doc Martin-Green speaking ! Only about a month ago, Sterling were stuffed 1-5 by 'Alloa, 'Alloa 'Alloa !!! "What do we 'ave 'ere then?" In a couple of days, Sterling gets to play off with Dumb-Barton for the honour of not playing in the Cinch(?) Scottish League Division 2 next season. Stranger things have 'appened. QPR vs Man City anyone ? Unlike others, at least they got into the playoffs.
Apparently one of the highlights at the Ipswich Huddersfield game was both sets of fans joining to together to sing. Leeds are falling apart AGAIN
Well done to Grant & the Donny team, finishing 5th. With their form over the last 10 games must be faves going into the play offs
The old ones are the best! After our disappointment yesterday, at least we can still have fun poking at TWS. please log in to view this image
I liked your post with trepidation as I have a good friend who used to play for them. Hope he doesn't sign onto here as my life could be hell.
so, anyway, stranraer were left needing to win their final game at home to division champions and draw kings stenhousemuir to avoid being dragged into the relegation play-offs. they did manage to win, as it turned out, leaving stenhousemuir, runaway champions, with just one win from their final 13 games, along with 10 draws and two defeats against bottom-of-the-division teams. just as well they won 17 of their first 23 games, but one would normally like a bit of momentum for the season after promotion. alas for stranraer, the two teams directly above them both won, with clyde achieving a great escape of their own. the general plan for relegation is that the champions of the highland league play the champions of the lowland league over two legs, with the winners playing the team bottom of the scottish league, again over two legs. this time, however, highland league champs buckie thistle didn't quite have the qualifications ("bronze-level club licence") that the sfl wanted and have been denied the chance to participate in the play-offs, so stranraer face lowland league champs east kilbride for the sfl place with games on may 11th and 18th. https://news.stv.tv/sport/buckie-th...stated-after-being-denied-chance-of-promotion https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/foo...land-league-champions-accept-fate/ar-AA1nSxn4
Congrats to Bromley. Now in the EFL.... Where the hell is Bromley? ....South-East London for a guess. A challenger to Palace's dominance of those parts, perhaps.
Remember that documentary about them being the worst team in the country? Made great strides since then.
Always quite interesting when traditional non league clubs break into the football league where there is already one dominant FL club in the area, like Fleetwood and Blackpool and Harrogate/TWS. Have they got a traditional supporter base or do most of them already follow said local league club as well as them? Already three established football league clubs round there so you wonder where their support base comes from.
