    Just announced on SSN that Gary Speed has passed away.

    I'm in total shock

    RIP Gary. You've brought some pride back to Welsh football.

    Thoughts go out to his family at this time

    I'm flabbergasted. What a tragedy! What a waste of such a young life.

    this is unbelievable, he was only on F.F yesterday. i dont feel like going to the match now.....very sad very sad indeed RIP

    I was reading on ere with Talksport on in the background. They said there was some tragic breaking news!! Well I could have fallen over, just can't believe it!! I'm absolutely shocked & stunned!!

    All I can say is my thoughts are with his poor family & friends. Lets be honest, it's going to affect us all....

    RIP Gary. You really made us proud again...... <rose>

    Terrible news and really shocking to hear. 42yrs old and still looked fit as a fiddle RIP Gary Speed :(
