Aye but we've got Dodds and Proctor as well who ironically even Rotherham wouldn't touch with a bargepole.

it wasn’t - he said he was ranked in the top 10 and he was on wyscout. Whether he should have been or not is debatable of course

As has been said, it was factually correct. Either way, there was still no need for your attitude about it.

It’s not factually correct though. Even if WyScout had him down as the number 1 CB that’s their opinion based on their interpretation of the data they hold on said player. As mentioned he’s around the 30th percentile for defensive actions across all championship CB’s so no idea who’s came to that conclusion.

It's factually correct that Wyscout ranked him in the top 10 at that time. If you disagree with them, have a word with Wyscout.

So how do they determine who’s top 10? What data do they use? Does anyone actually know or have you all just heard this from a bloke in the pub?

They use a combination of stats, the main ones for CBs will be:
    % of defensive duels won
    % of accurate passes
    % of aerial duels won
    Number of interceptions
    Number of ball recoveries
No of goals that team have conceeded

They then take those stats and calculate who is the best CB based on the stats. Tbf when you look at the list of who are the top performing CBs on their list its normally the ones who are classed as the better players

Now im not saying o9 is in the top 10 cbs in the league as hes not, but he was in the top 10 CBs in the league at one point based on their rankings - that is factual correct.

O9 has had more good games than bad this season but his bad games have been really poor and often lead to goals (suppose that could be said for most CBs in the league). We do need to sign a CB imo, id like another in the mold of ballard, a physical CB.
