Seri Allsop Greaves. ... We didn't miss out on the Play Off's at Plymouth, we blew it ourselves with some trepid performances at home. The one week travelling circus to Turkey didn't help either. Plymouth deserved it today, it was a massive game for them as you saw by the fans reaction at the end. They out fought City all over the pitch. But to finish 7th on 70 points is no mean feat and Rosenior derserves some credit for that. Hopefully we can strengthen in the summer and learn from the mistakes we made this season. The Championship isn't a bad place to be after all. UTT.
Greaves Seri And errr…. Omur What a game to finish the season… we need a win for a remote play off chance they need point or three to stay in the championship… Credit to the 1;700 who turned up after a 340 mile journey, and Ajun who again appreciated the effort. Surely after a good season with the highest stakes we would turn up up better than the bottom of the league team… but sadly no. Plymouth players wanted it more. The negative First half slow performance sums up why we’re not in the top six.. typically too frequent this year. Some of our players had their worst game of the season, got to question their mentality for this level when it mattered Substitutes timing seemed a bit strange and they added little improvement apart from Omur The positive I have thoroughly enjoyed this season with some great results, goals and quality play in most games We have full houses again at home, well done Ajun, Tan, Liam & the team We were so close to play offs, and with continued improvement next year looks really exciting Just make sure we learn lessons for this years short comings… excited to look forward to the transfer window in June
They seemed more fired up than us . 1. Seri - another class performance , passes going forward and when needed tackled well. 2. Alsop - kept goal well and made some decent saves . Played the ball forward well . 3. Greaves - solid at the back again , good in the air and made some important blocks . 7 th. in this league is a decent effort and good improvement from the previous 2 seasons .Hopefully a good foundation for us to improve even more next season . Well done boys Come on City
