I can see that happening, and wouldn't be surprised to see Slater move to midfield in place of Morton.
I'm just hoping for a couple of early goals to settle the nerves and also put the pressure on WBA as I'm sure their crowd will be keeping an eye on our game

I like Slater, think he's pretty undervalued here. Yes he's limited at some stuff but he's good at driving us forward and he's got pretty quick feet too, decent shot on him and never stops running. No he can't pass and dictate like Morton or Seri but he has some very good qualities. Wins us a lot of fouls too and I'm sure he's won a fair few penalties over the years.
Slater is Quality....PERIOD....Always in my starting XI...Get him running at the oppos and nothing much stops him.
