Common sense sometimes does prevail. See how much they earn though from people who panic and pay. Criminals.

That is why they put pay in 14 days and its £60 offers on the letter, try to get people to panic and not fight it.

Good to see its been cancelled.

My mrs had a right carry on with whoever looks after parking at the hospital on chester road - she takes her mother to her appointments - on this day she'd gone into the car park but couldnt find a spot so dropped her mother off and then drove out of the hospital and found a spot on the street further away. After the appointment she drove back into the car park to pick her up from the drop off point. She got a fine from them but only showing her driving in the first time and then leaving the second time - the other pictures mysteriously disappeared! In the end we got the hospital involved who said this sort of thing happens all the time and they managed to get it cancelled for us.

Ah, Will and John, the two spivs who run Gladstones. These sharks set up their own parking trade association for the private parking companies (the IPC) and its appeals body the IAS. So the parking association, its appeals body and the firm of solicitors which gets the legal work - all run by the same people. No conflict of interest there!

The reason they won't do court is that courts have ruled that wrong registration cases are "de minimis" ("the law does not deal with trivialities"). You paid, they suffered no loss, you're in the right.

Thanks for the info.mate. I wasn't aware of the set-up,but I'll be able to use it. I've been in touch with the SRA about Gladstones...their online reviews are shocking,I can't understand how they're still allowed to practice.

Absolutely this. My brother used to be a parking warden in Sunderland. Knows exactly how to get out of any parking fine! I always go to him with these
