Agreed. Class act, can’t wait to see him running the show next season for us.

Amad is giving Roberts a little bit of love on Instagram. I’m assuming he’s seen some of the criticism he’s been getting or maybe has heard of the tough time he’s going through.

I hate that fans forget that players are people too, with their own emotions, anxieties, insecurities etc. I hope that Roberts can start enjoying his football and being happy again soon.

Been a major disappointment for us this season, but was a joy to watch last season.

I’m happy to give him a clean slate pre season.

Yep. Big summer for the lad. Still feel he can be a huge part of our team.

Hope Roberts comes back stronger next season. He's a joy to watch when he's on his game.

Considering probably our highest paid player the new coach simply has to get some form out of him if we want the sustainable model to be successful. You can't have ineffective expensive players as that just heaps pressure on the young and lower paid members of the squad who were probably recruited as backups/developmental players.

As much as I have criticised him, I hope whoever the coach is can help him find some form as we desperately need more output in the attacking areas, especially if Clarke leaves.

Absolutely. It’s been a poor season for him but he’ll be fully aware of that. Hopefully a decent pre season gets him firing again
