Anyway, not really much I can add to the thread as I think we've pretty much covered it all (good and bad), only to say that I really like Sam Edozie; he suffers from 'one stepover too many' syndrome, but I put that down to the exuberance of youth and the desire to impress. And besides, who doesn't like a bit of sexy football, particularly in the midst of a game that was wrapped up in an old winter nightie, fashioned in beige flannelette and done up tightly to the neck. So to speak.

 

I firmly believe that the January loans have made us worse. The pressure to leave out Charles and Edozie for two Bournemouth boys who honestly look half-arsed - and the fact it also meant losing Alcaraz - has totally ruined the club's balance.

 

I certainly agree that not giving Charles enough time has come back to bite us, having to deal with ‘on/off the bench, too often off in my view I’m not surprised he’s looking short of what we need at times. Edozie, I’m a big fan of and he was the only on field player that offered hope on Saturday.
I have much admiration for the way David Brooks has dealt with his massive health issues but he is not currently better than any of the other options we have. Rothwell is certainly a major disappointment.
