Oh for the days of playing in Europe again - I also remember the really low points when it took us 3 years to get out of League One.
I remember programme sellers at the toolbox having boards showing 1 programme £1.50, 2 programmes £3, 3 programmes £4.50 It was good that they were showing them the calculations, but you have to wonder how the gorillas got past looking at the photos?!
Didn't know our women's team manager had been inducted into the CAFC hall of fame. I believe in the value of the women's team to the Club, but my arguments are not helped by political correctness of this nature. If Karen Hills gets our women's team promoted to the WSL and establishes them there for maybe five seasons, then she would be worthy of consideration for the hall of fame in my view. But by definition that couldn't happen until the year 2030 at the earliest. The CAFC hall of fame is diluted and devalued if moves like this are made for the wrong reasons. I think women's football deserves equal respect. But accolades must be earned with equal hard work and long term achievement beyond normal expectation. Not as part of a fashionable agenda.
You can josh all you like my old mucker, but facts are facts. Harris himself has said this week that despite your “success” in not getting relegated, Millwall will be selling club again this summer Talking of facts, it’s great to support a South London club that not only had 8 lovely seasons in the Premier league, but has also won the FA Cup. Both are experiences that Steptoe & Son down at the Den are unlikely to experience.
We have had more seasons in the top flight, our average attendances are higher, we have won more trophies. The only thing TC and Ringo can have over us is higher arrest rates.
It's a shame you hounded Curbs out of your club when you did. Leason not learnt, and you've since hounded out Duchatelet too. If you hadn't done that, I doubt you'd be a bottom half League 1 team now.
