The 'proof' is an embedded journalist using it as an example on a pod with a club employee present. And the fact that the scheme hasn't returned and won't be returning. It would appear big Nigel is missing an ostrich.
I saw the Spurs team coach going up the A1 to Newcastle the other week. Even if they are luxury coaches, I still like the idea of a group of millionaires sitting there for several hours like plebs on a Megabus, stopping at Blyth services for a pee and a Greggs.
The fact the scheme hasn’t returned is not proof there was £40,000 damage to one coach as some have said. Seems a couple of villages are missing idiots.
They do stop at services Had a prem goalkeeper in the queue in front of me buying a ribena They were playing newcastle i think
Talking of megabus, it looks like they are no longer serving hull. Must have heard about the buses getting vandalised to the tune of £40,000
The club paid for the damage,.not the insurance. You haven't heard the quote, you haven't looked for the quote and you're dismissing it as fact based on absolutely nothing.
The coach company will have had insurance. If the club did pay for the damage still seen no proof there was £40,000 of damage to one coach. In these days of everything ending up on social media you have to wonder why there has not been a single photo of what must have been a totally wrecked coach,
There is anecdotal evidence coming from those connected with the club. You're dismissing it out of hand with absolutely nothing to back it up. Remain ignorant if you wish. But how much do you think coachwork costs? A camper van can easily cost 20k FFS, let alone a 250-300k luxury coach. And yes, we're obviously talking about significant damage. And again, the club reportedly shelled out, insurance won't cover deliberate vandalism, that will be covered by the contract between Acklams and city.
Anecdotal evidence? Yes, proof positive. Not. I bet you believed the anecdotal evidence that those tearing the goalposts down at Huddersfield were City fans wearing the 75 shirts they had stolen from the club shop.
Obviously a much lower level, but I also once saw several Farsley Celtic players ordering food in the Burger King at Peterborough Services. It was lunchtime and they had a 3pm kick-off later that day. There's no way they felt good during that game.
