As said before our worst performance under Cleverly but a win to round off our home games Asprilla and Kone appeared to be saying goodbye at the end of the game, Kone went down the tunnel before the lap of honour, today was not their best performances but Kone made the pass for Andrews
Thanks for the Charlie Hurley tribute. You’ve got a lot of positive comments on our part of this Forum with many contributors saying it was a classy gesture and much appreciated.
Missex this on Eigg with no signal....phew! Which goal won goal of the season? And was it a good attendance ( in terms of seats filled?)
Tell the truth now - you were on the Rum on Eigg and got sloshed... Hoedt's Hull Howitzer goal of the season Official attendance 20k+ but plenty of seats looked bumless
When #watfordfc were promoted out of the Championship in 2020/21, they won 19 home league games. Yesterday’s victory means they have now finally matched that total in the last three seasons added together.
An amazingly bad stat really - let's hope that TC is the man to reverse it. Early signs are that he could well be - but he needs the backing of everyone involved with the club. Not just the owners but also of those empty-headed 'fans' on social media who have already been grumbling about his appointment. Not to mention from those players who appeared intent on spoiling young Jack Grieves's debut for him yesterday by ignoring him on the field.
Seemingly that is the approved way to do the count. Over 90% of season tickets have been renewed, so the figure will probably look high again next season.
Sky have done a mic’d up feature from the Luke O’Nien handball in the Sunderland game . Thought he was a lucky boy not to get sent off but maybe the officials knew we wouldn’t score ! It was Martins going through. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dsBp-dEXNPA
There was an even worse one at Villa when Delafoue was clean through and Minger Mings caught the ball and threw it out for a throw in, Mings was already booked but not even a free kick let alone a second yellow or straight red. to add insult to injury Mings scored the last minute winner A draw in that game would have sent Villa down and kept us up, one of half a dozen diabolical decisions that cost us a relegation we have still not recovered from, and when you see where they are now
Someone made a nice donation to charity after doing the Mr Q challenge . https://www.watfordfc.com/news/news-mrq-centre-spot-challenge-winner-donates-money-to-charity
