Carvalho Allsop Seri Slater and Jacob both really really struggled. Coyle has to come back in for Plymouth and Giles too for me
Tufan Delap Ohio All three scored to take it down to the last game of the season and its been a hell of a ride
Delap Tuffan Omur Harsh to leave out Allsop (dont think he could have done any better gir the goals) and Ohio (seems a different player to a few weeks ago)
Allsop Carvalho Tufan I thought some normally reliable players were below par today, maybe nerves, or 3 games in a week. Jones, Slater, Philogene and Seri in particular. I'd include Jacob but we could cut him some slack for being up against a very good winger, and for a series of fantastic headers in our penalty area plus the one which made the equaliser.
Very harsh lumping in Seri there, was often in the centre by himself and it was him who got us the first.
Allsop - kept us in that Tufan - makes us tick Carvalho - instrumental Honourables for Delap, Ohio, Ömur, Philogene and Greaves Seri played well but him losing possession nearly cost us immediately and then did cost us when they scored from one of the preceding corners. Excellent pressure to set up our first though. Jacob struggled defensively but largely played well when trying to break forwards. Jones played some good stuff forwards too at times but struggled a bit tonight. Slater, granted, was out of position but I thought he was poor tonight. Put us under a lot of unnecessary pressure losing the ball on a few occasions. In a must win game next weekend however, I still think he should start over Coyle as he offers so much more going forwards and he does get up the pitch so much more. Morton needs to learn to ****ing shoot when he's in that sort of space in front of their box. Felt sorry for him for the defensive error for their first but he had at least two opportunities to try and cancel that out and instead chose to pass wide.
A great battle . End to end . 1. Omur - a battling display with plenty of aggression, some robust tackles and nice passing . 2. Seri - an excellent performance again . 3. Alsop - yes we conceded 3 goals , but was he at fault for any of them . Made some good saves to keep is in the game . Unlucky boys . We still have a mathematical chance . Come on City .
WOW what a game. Unfair to pick only three out in what was an outstanding performance against a very good team But, Allsop Carvelleo Greaves. ...
