I would like to ask Dodds what he has learnt from that game that will benefit us in future. Just seems to play same way week in week out at the moment. I suppose it won't be his problem next season but you would have thought he would have tried something a little bit different in the second half.
We edged it n had some really good chances, clarke could have had a hattrick but the game lacked quality
Sheff Wed are just 6 points behind us btw, be 3 after next weekend. Can't wait to never think about this season again.
It would help if we tried playing him in his proper position and gave him a run of games, or even let him finish games. This smells like how we carried on with Michut last year, when he finally got in the team he was always hooked around 60/65 minutes no matter what
If something drastic doesn’t happen in the summer we will be. Since the turn of the year our form has been nothing short of a shambles, we’ve probably been worse than absolutely everyone bar Rotherham. Hoping the right manager is brought in and a big summer of transfers is incoming to stop that happening though.
I know i'll get pelters, but Clarke needs dropping, and hopefully Watson gets his chance. He's been awful since his injury. Is he holding back because of a transfer? When did he last score? Not once was i confident he'd do the business today. My opinion before i get slated we'd be lucky to get 5m for him. His head has been turned. Unfortunately if it dosen't get better next week, no one will want him, and on his recent performances he'd struggle in this squad with a new manager looking on
It's not just him we've mistreated this season, he's just the one that irks me the most because you can see he's clearly talented. All threat and creativity went as soon as he went off and Roberts came on.
Roberts who has contributed 0 goals and 0 assists. Last season he was a joy, but this season he has been a real issue. This summer is huge for us
Maybe it's going to take the ****e season to make the changes, had somehow Beale got us in the play offs but not promoted, then you can guarantee next season he'd be our head coach and Speakman would be our DOF. The way we've spiralled down the league is maybe what it takes to get the changes needed of a new head coach and DOF. Who knows the **** season could turn out as a success
All players have a blip, especially if coming back from injury and it won't effect other teams wanting him or paying what he is worth. If his head has been turned and he is holding back that won't take away his chance of a move either.
Dodds needs ****ing sacking. Playing 5-5-0 again when it didn’t work last week was a joke. Setting up for a draw then trying to tell the press we should have won the game and the players need to take the chances. The bloke is a ****ing clown,
Some people would be negative if we were top of the League mate. They're not happy unless they've got something to whinge about. We all recognise that mistakes have been made, but this slump may well prove to be a blessing in disguise. If we'd finished 8th or 9th this season, the club might have thought that with a couple of changes, we could improve enough for a crack at the play offs, instead of implementing major change. Our slump has clearly shown that major changes are required in playing personnel, coaching staff and Director of Football. Our owner hasn't come here to be an also ran in the Championship. He is ambitious and I firmly believe that this close season will see major changes which will transform this club and those who he sees as responsible for the slump will pay the ultimate price of failure. Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to move forward. Next season, we've got a chance to write the wrongs of this season in the Championship, Birmingham might not be so lucky.
With every game that goes by with zero positives the job needed in the summer looks bigger and bigger, and less and less likely to happen.
