Some are still mourning the previous.. I find it strange they can’t see the vast improvement of performances overall. It’s the first time in a long time we should be excited about next season
He hasn’t been allowed to play him has he? A clause in his co tract meant he had to be loaned out or we had to pay a fee of some description, I’m not sure exactly.
True this even with previous managers hardly played as a striker, funnily enough when he played there he scored 20+ goals.
I'll get excited when we've seen how ambitious JL is with the purse strings. Even then with Leeds or Southampton staying down and the 3 relegated Prem sides I think our best hope is 6th - 10th.
Chuck in the also rans this season who failed to make the top 6 like Hull and PNE, and you have to think that the likes of Middlesbrough and Sunderland must have better seasons next time as well ? Leicester, Leeds and Ipswich may be gone next season but the likes of Norwich and WBA may also still be there too plus as you’ve said Sheffield United, Burnley, Luton etc That’s 9 teams who will fancy their chances straight away
Just seen that, unless there is a huge turn around in the scores in the final 20 mins, the worst we can finish is 12th, and the best 9th. I’ll take that as an improvement!!
