In week 29 we managed two wins - at home to Birmingham and away to Swansea. The 2-1 win over Birmingham was correctly predicted by many - Didley, Finglas, Hammersmith, Kiwi, Maple, MickMack, RTID, Sooper, Surrey, SW Ranger and Wherever - while Beth and Jeff both got the 1-0 win at Swansea right. Hats off to Ski though, as he got both correct. Ski was also top scorer with 22 points, followed by Kiwi and Trammers with 21. Steels still leads by 6 points, with Kiwi moving up to second. Kiwi has already lead this once, he ain't need to do it again! He looked much better, positioned further down the table. Thanks Strolls.
There are some real smart people on this forum type thingy and they know there are some who aren’t satisfied with having lead this once……. The cheek of it! Meanwhile, l’ll just sit back & do squat.
Former champion my friend, forced into exile for 3 years after winning it and made to reappear in another guise ! I'm feeling it lol. That's about all I'm feeling tonight, hands and feet are now numb like Kiwi's brain !
What a very pleasant surprise! It is great to score much more points than my recent mid-table mediocrity, but I have most joy from the fact that we won both games and have SIX points in the Championship Table. Three more on Friday would be most welcome and very gratifying.
