Manchester United fan complaining about a ref dubious decision. Thats the definition of irony right there!
Utd fans have the right to question many a ref decision e.g. away to Birmingham City last season. Or I suppose only other fans and clubs can question dodgy decisions?
Ben Arfa got his penalty because the linesman spotted Ferdinand put his studs into Ben Arfa's calf. Although they was a little injustice when Coloccini tackles Rooney and Rooney lost his temper and started kicking in Colo, but the officials must not of seen that and given Ben Arfa a yellow for attempting to bring the incident to light. All in all Man UTD didn't win because they where too concerned about spitting their dummy's out... 10 Men where deserved over 11 boys today, sorry lads.
Rooney played a part in it, prior to that... Rooney appeared to start kicking at Colo... fair? I would say you where lucky but you should be safe in the knowledge that the pundits will be blowing kisses at your team on MOTD tonight over the incidents.
Bitter **** We definitely deserved a point out of the game and I thought we were the better team first half. All the chances in the last 15 minutes after Jonas was sent off will give a false reflection on the game when people do watch it on MOTD as I thought we limited you to much fewer chances before we went down to 10 men. Rooney was bang out of order , should have been sent off. Shocking challenge on Ben Arfa. What irks me is that the referee acknowledged that it was a foul but didn't even book Rooney? Yes , our penalty shouldn't have stood but it's about time you got a bad decision against you at OT if I'm being completely honest. I remember Paul Durkin once denying us the clearest penalty ever for a Tim Howard trip on Shearer. All in all , we deserved a point , defended like heroes , created a few chances and a draw was a fair result.
Berb, stop acting like a twat you pathetic binman. You get penalties for the sake of it sometimes so you can't really complain when one goes against you. Anyway, apparently you had loads of chances to score and you only managed to score one. Nobody should give two ****s if it is deserved, it happened. You (and Trilogy10) are letting down the rest of the Man Utd fans with your crying. Get over it.
I was incensed that Rooney was still on the pitch for the repeated hacks he took at Colo's shin, then to top that off the referee booked HBA for telling Rooney to use his ****ing brain. Good decision on the Pen though so made up for it.
It wasn't a dive you tosser, it wasn't a penalty, but Ferdinand's tackle took him down. Shouldn't have been a pen, but HBA didn't dive.
It's ironic to see Man Utd fans so angry about one wrong decision. Just compare this to how many decisions go your way (specially in big games)... It's no surprise that the Man Utd biased media will go on and on about this penalty decision. This penalty similar to the one you lot got at Blackburn last season to seal the title and I didn't hear any of you guys complaining about that.
Are you being serious? You try running full pelt into someone sliding across the floor. Where else was he going to go? It was never a penalty but there was definitely contact between players so Ben Arfa fell over. There isn't a player on Earth who could've stayed on his feet in that situation, it's physically impossible. It wasn't the sort of play-acting you see from say Nani, Hernandez or Evra repeatedly.
