Added to which, Russell’s “possession or death” tactic is being exposed, as it’s pointless without movement and urgency, neither of which we have today. Watch how Vardy reacted to winning a corner. Showed more passion than our whole team.
I’d already written this off as a dead game for us and yet they have still managed to **** in my overnight oats. We haven’t been very good for a while tbh, it was great to win those 3 games before but the only good performance was against Preston. Need to shape up fast or this season will be a game shorter than we are hoping for.

Brilliant piece of tactical play by us, get Leicester promoted so we don’t have to face them in the inevitable playoffs. Same predictable patterns of play unfortunately. Maresca could watch one of our games this season and tell the players where to be to nullify our play. Charles’ inability to turn or play forwards is a big limiting factor, he’s playing as a bounce board at the moment. It took 45 minutes for him to make a positive contribution.
Russ is such a weird one. I have respect for him for picking up a ruined team and getting them going again, culminating in the unbeaten run. And yet I’d lose zero sleep if he wasn’t in charge after this season.
I did fear that this might happen. Leicester are better at being a Championship Man City than we are - as an example, look at how swiftly they cut straight through us on the one occasion we properly tried to press them. Therefore, we needed to try something different. And as a number of different sides have proven in recent weeks, that something different is quick counter-attacks, Take advantage of those precious few seconds where Leicester's defence is out of position. And yes, we do have the necessary players in our squad to do that. But of course Martin isn't going to change his style. Bree has been a disaster.

VAR would have ruled it out and it was off but I'm still happy we don't have it. Better game without it.
Felt sorry for Charles. Every time he gets the ball he has 50 yards between him and the nearest red shirt
To be fair, we're playing exactly the same way Cardiff did first half at the weekend. Worked out okay for them
