Andersen was dire. I said to the guy next to me it's like I'm picking on him but everything say 90% of what he did was just terrible. Field Mom for me,jointly with JCS
Anderson seems to have one good game, one bad, one good, one bad, etc. However, as soon as he went off, we had no more dead ball hopes.
Andersen is the kind of player that I want to watch. Col's right in as much as he's a bit of a luxury player, but **** it, so what? Give me Andersen over Colback any day of the week.
Thought that was Colback’s best game. Anderson deserves a pre-season before being judged. He’s come in off the back of no football and played pretty much every game.
He's the kind of player I like to watch too. Colback was very good yesterday imo and clearly plays in a different position. A team need both, a Taarabt and a Derry etc. I just find him frustratingly lazy and Taarabt got the same criticism too, but the difference was, we were top of the table. I really hope Andersen just needs a full pre-season and then we'll see more energy and a yard more pace.
Bit of an apples and oranges comparison Strolls, but I know what you mean. At Bristol he was great to watch play and it would be great to see him bringing his style and play through a season. As Col says, hopefully with a pre-season under his belt and knowing a bit of what the championship is about he will do just that.
Also we’re 95% likely losing Willock and **** knows what’s happening with Chair. There won’t be serious funds available unless we get lucky with Eze so without Andersen there’s more flair in my toenail than the rest of that squad. Maybe Kolliflower will spend summer in the weights room and eating raw steak.

Can't remember which game it was but Anderson was all over the pitch. My lad commented on it at the time, saying how much ground he had covered. I certainly wouldn't class him as a lazy player.
That’s what I saw on Saturday. He was always available, always looking to play the positive pass, and always chasing back. Sure, some of the passes went astray and some of the chases exposed his relative slowness, but it wasn’t a poor performance by any measure, even if not his best. His shooting is weak, and if you look on the stats sites that has always been the case. I’d be interested to see how much ground he covered on Saturday. If he is a ‘luxury’ player then I only like ‘luxury’ football.
Andersen was a player we play against looking for a win. Hayden is a player we play when we are looking for a draw/not to lose. I can see Hayden, Colbeck and Field playing on Friday
We'll have to agree to differ. The Andersen I watched on Saturday, apart from a couple of nice passes, constantly gave the ball away and never, ever broke into anything above a fast jog. Obviously talented and hopefully the fitness will improve, which should give him more pace too, as he looked like he was running in treacle at times. Hopefully, he'll be MOTM on Friday night.
Totally agree about Andersen and yet others who saw the same game think he played well and worked hard. It's amazing how we can all view the same game so differently.
Dobra at Chesterfield is close to a Chair type. I like big Crooks at Boro too who has not been getting a game .HAyden type but has goals in him. Stansfield if Brum drop. There's plenty out there for little or no money. Anyone seen Langstaff play as his stats are impressive?
Don't get me wrong I like Andersen but sat he was more like dozzell. Fair's fair i'll big him up when he plays well but he was embarrassingly bad on sat
