WTF. He’s an absolute cancer on the clubs future imo but sadly not one we will get rid of any time soon
I feel exactly the same. If KS is still in the job, next season is make or break for him. Screw up the Head Coach and player recruitment again and the fan base will be out with their pitchforks baying for blood.
I disagree with that. The Madrox era with Dicky Hill, Tony Cotón and co was “Jobs for the boys” this is nothing like that. The Beale appt might have been one, but the way the club is run is night and day these days
Don't think I have come across this particular cold-smoked herring previously. I'm justgoing to assume it is some sort of joke.
****s'sake https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...derland-not-necessarily-need-new-number-nine/ Speakman has nobbled him
So we're told KLD is currently appointing a new manager, bringing in new people, introducing new merchandising, taking out a new £20m loan, committing to £10m new stadium work for the present and future, holding planning meetings for the transfer window, drawing up a list of players who'll be going, etc etc etc. What a waste of his time when he's actually sacking Speakman/in the process of selling the club and getting out of Sunderland for good. Glad that's all been cleared up.
First paragraph only mattered pre game, second is all that is relevant now after we had the audacity to lose a (to us) pointless game of football.
Totally agree mate, KLD has a vision & we have made some may progress, especially taking into consideration the mess/ground zero he walked into, still a hell of a lot to do but anyone expecting no bumps in the road is not living in the real world
I pine for those L1 days regular mate, excitement for signing a big name striker for decent money like Will Grigg, nothing like making a statement in divisions, gets other clubs worried & the great plan of bringing income in you can use like selling off all young assets asap....miss the owners engagement popping in for a drink with fans ...those were the days....sadly they might be gone for good
Surely as the head coach it’s yours and the other coaches jobs to get those players playing around a striker. Maybe this is why a change of personnel should be essential with the new manager coming in. And if they’re unable to do that then why wasn’t it a priority to sign a proper false 9 rather than signing young lads who’ve played as traditional 9s?
