Yeah it’s not as simple as ‘just spend some money man’ so easy to rattle off examples of dreadful spending, Everton, forest, Chelsea, Burnley this season over 100m spent and still ****e, money doesn’t equal success
This is bang on really. Can't believe some people think spending more is the answer when we've spent a load anyway. Need to get better at squad building and get back to using the loan market better.
Defo mate. Not every signing needs to be a potential world beater. Plenty of players who’ve joined other championship clubs this season on frees or on loan that would improve us and help the younger players. Minor tweaks though in my opinion it’s not a lack of transfer fees.
Frees and loans wouldn't make the 'KLD IS SKINT' crowd very happy, even though a player like Alan Browne and a quality PL loan would probably have us near the playoffs this season.
Well that was crap, some of them are definitely on the beach ! That’s just not good enough, we need more commitment than that, and I don’t just mean on the pitch ! End of the season can’t come quick enough so we can get a gaffer in who will ruffle some feathers and raise the standards. Too many going through the motions
Well I have to say that was bloody boring but I thought it was going to be poor when I saw the team. Terrible selection from dodds with dack up top just awful. Anyway I still think we have the makings of a good team but we obviously need some championship ready players for next season. Today showed me how important a player Dan Neil is to us . We had no control in midfield at all missed him getting on the ball and dictating play. Oh well only 2 more games then we can regroup and get ready for next season. It's difficult at times but keep the faith.
If you listen to the phone-ins on radio newcastle everybody is saying the same thing about our slow game. Someone said a Rugby team makes more forward passes than we do and that if we got a penalty we would pass it back to Patterson. On here, we all can see how our sideways game is awful. The question is, why do the people who can do something about it not do something to change it. Manager, Coach, Speakman or even KLD. In a way it’s probably a good thing we lost today because just imagine if Doddsy had got 3 wins. The powers that be might well give him the job full time (cheap, available and, I’m guessing, probably compliant to Speakman and KLD) which would be a big mistake. He’s not ready yet (but he will be in the future after a couple of lower league posts as Manager and perhaps then we could consider him) Who was our MOTM. Luke?
That was utter ****ing garbage. I can accept losing games, but I will not accept a refusal to run or to try. Not one player on that pitch put in a shift today. Dodds takes the blame for setting us up for a 0-0. Pathetic
Was absolutely terrible. The second I seen the team, I had to take a double look. Dack up front is P45 levels.
