When Holly plays an April fools joke on Lister telling him he has 3 million years worth of compound interest on the pennies he had in his bank account before he left. However, he also left the bathroom light on so he now owes more than that to the electricity board? They might of nicked it from DA.
I think I was probably conflating the two. In H2G2 Adams uses the idea to explain how everyone can afford to eat at Milliway's - the restaurant at the end of the Universe: At the Restaurant you can meet and dine with a fascinating cross-section of the entire population of space and time. Guests can arrive for any sitting they like without prior reservation because they can book retrospectively, as it were, when they return to their own time. All you have to do is deposit one penny in a savings account in your own era, and when you arrive at the End of Time the operation of compound interest means that the fabulous cost of your meal has been paid for. Both outstanding books and TV series'. The original radio dramatisation of H2G2 is brilliant as well. The film was ****, mind.

I'm thinking that drugs and smoking are bad and have no upsides I dont bet or drink alcohol but I can see many people enjoy those activities without any ill effects I dont see many downsides for music (maybe crazy people who play loud music in their homes or cars) or sex (maybe STDs and unwanted babies)

Well, that's me in Hospital... This has not been a good morning. After spending the last few weeks self quarantined inside the house, I decided to go horseback riding, (as we're not allowed on our bikes), something I haven't done in many years. It turned out to be a horrible big mistake! I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then we went a little faster. Before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, catching my foot in the saddle stirrup, the horse was then dragging me, refusing to stop. Thankfully the Manager at Tesco's came out and unplugged the machine. He actually had the nerve to take the rest of my coins off me so I wouldn't try to ride the Elephant...

I know of Warrs and Harley Davidson but what have they and 100 years got to do with punk? Were they thinking of steam punk but some young marketing manager cocked up? EDIT. I see the other bands are more biker related.
